This attempts to move around Thailand vaccinating and neutering stray dogs and cats to control the population problem and diseases.
School Educational Scheme.
To foster an interest and compassion for animals amongst school children. There is currently a monetary prize for a teacher who can think of a syllabus concerning animal welfare.
Fostering and 'Rehoming' Programmes
To find new homes for unwanted or left animals particularly dogs and cats.
Animal Protection Legislation.
To lobby and place pressure on the government to pass new improved laws concerning the treatment of animals and animal welfare.
This award is given by the TSPCA to those who have contributed a great deal in the improvement of animal welfare in Thailand.
The TSPCA works with a number of international agencies including WWF, Wildlife fund Thailand, and Wild animal rescue.
